Unit 4 Section 2 : Revision of the four rules (decimals)
This section is intended to act as a revision of basic number operations (+, -, × and ÷) with decimals.
It assumes that you have covered these operations before.
The example question below shows the working using the "traditional" methods for each operation.
There are other methods for each operation which are equally acceptable. You should choose the one you find easiest.
Example Question
Calculate:
(a) 3.8 + 10.42
(b) 18.2 - 0.36
(c) 8.2 × 3.7
(d) 1.56 ÷ 0.3
