This section will give you practice in working with money, which will involve addition and subtraction of decimals.
Jason has a £5 note when he leaves home. He spends 27p on sweets in one shop and £3.50 on a book in another shop.
How much money does he have left?
Jason's dad now gives him another £3.50.
